The case of the introduction of a 3D model of an unmanned robot
We share a case of using a 3D review of an innovative product on the website and at the exhibition.
Recently, ECOTECH has introduced our service on its website for its new project – an unmanned electric robot "Gorodovoy", designed for cleaning snow, dirt and leaves in urban space.
On November 25, 2023, the exposition "Building the Future" opened at the Moscow VDNH exhibition "Russia", within which the stand of this project was presented. One of the components of the presentation of the janitor robot was its display as a 3D model on a touch screen using our Site3D Configurator platform.
How the 3D widget was created
Initially, the customer sent us a robot model in the format of the 3D Studio Max editor.
Initial 3D model from the client
Then one of our 3D artists Alexey exported the model to the Blender editor, optimized it, applied textures correctly and sent the final model to the client in GLB format.
Next, our developers added the ability to control the glow effect to the platform to make the headlights of our robot janitor more realistic.
And in the end, our customer managed to independently create a project in the service, upload a model and implement 3D viewing on his website.
